I’m sure every travel writer and blogger had these very thoughts when they first started their journey… “Why not? I have great information to share!” This is a great time in my life to start writing about my travel experiences and advice. I am blessed to travel for my real job about 25 weeks of the year as a caddie for professional golfers on the PGA TOUR.

I love to travel, but I prefer to travel smart! I have accumulated a great number of miles and points in different loyalty programs. At the moment I have 15+ credit cards and my credit score has never been higher. I read points and miles blogs every day and I only sign up for a credit card when I know it’s offering its highest sign up bonus it has ever offered.

Travel isn’t cheap by any means and I do spend a lot of money with certain hotels and airlines. But by maximizing loyalty points I can fly around the world in first class while staying in suites in the best hotels imaginable for basically nothing, and that’s exciting. This is a hobby for me but it’s also a job. It consumes hours of my day staying up to date on what’s going on in the hotel and airline industry. But to say the least, it is certainly an exciting time in my life. I can pick up my bags tomorrow and fly to Maldives, Bora Bora, Tokyo or whatever exotic location I want just by maximizing my loyalty points. What’s not to love about that?

I look forward to sharing my travel reviews with you all.
